Beginner Bellydance I
Unveil the Mystery! This class will introduce the fundamental mechanics of Bellydance. You will be exploring such movements as the figure 8, hip circles, ribcage circles, hip bumps, lifts, twists and shimmies! Your instructor will break down the movements that are the foundation of all styles of bellydance. You will learn proper dance posture, traveling steps, turns, graceful arm movements and veil work.
Beginner Bellydance II
Hungry for more? This class will expand on the fundamentals you learned in Beginner Bellydance I. More challenging movements such as undulations, camels, bellyrolls, and variations of previously learned steps will be taught. This class aims to fine tune your technique while expanding on your knowledge of basic Bellydance movements.
Intermediate Bellydance
Get ready to dance! This class will combine and layer the movements learned in Beginner Bellydance I and II. You will continue to perfect your fundamental skills while learning new steps and combinations. The focus of this class will rotate each session between Middle Eastern Rhythms and Zills, Layering and Combinations, and Musical Interpretation and Choreography. We will also be incorporating elements of improvisational dance in order for the dancer to develop her own personal style!
Advanced Techniques in Bellydance
Still want more? Well, this class is for you! Complex levels of layering and stacking movements, more zills, and new combinations. Let Linda infuse you with her passion for Middle Eastern dance! Completion of Intermediate Bellydance is recommended.

Hula Basics
Hula is the heartbeat of the Hawaiian people. To the ancient Hawaiians hula was more than a dance, it was a way of life. Hula began as a form of worship and as a way to pass down tales of ancient Hawaiian gods, past kings, and descriptions of Hawaii 's natural beauty. Today hula is practiced for recreation and to preserve the rich cultural and spiritual history of Hawaii .
In Hula Basics, Instructor Ke`alohilohi (aka Donna Pierce)will teach the graceful hand gestures and swaying hips that are the hallmark of modern auana style and ancient kahiko style hula dance.
Middle Eastern Hand Drumming
Not just for men! This class is for anyone looking to expand their knowledge of Middle Eastern rhythms; whether you wish to become a proficient drummer or simply to improve in your dance. Let Regan Coussan teach you the mechanics of hand drumming and several of the most well known Arabic rhythms.
Flamenco Fusion
Want to add some Spanish flavor to your dance? Come join Jennifer as she instructs you in the intriguing fusion of Flamenco and Bellydance. You will learn posture, hand and arm movements that are specific to Flamenco dancing, combinations, turns, skirt work, as well as the attitude and intensity that are unique to Flamenco. This class does not require shoes. |
